Shocks and Struts

When you pass over a bump in the road, does your car or truck continue to bounce for the next block or so?  That oscillation, or up-and-down motion, is most likely due to bad shocks or struts.

Your vehicle may need new shocks and struts if:

  • Visual - there are noticeable fluid leaks; if the shocks, struts or mounts look dented or damaged; or if your tires show unusual wear patterns. (example: cupping)
  • Vehicle handling - you experience a generally bumpy or shaky vehicle ride; poor steering response, stiffness or noise when steering; "nose dive" or instability when braking; or swaying/leaning when turning or changing lanes.
  • Mileage - testing has shown that at around 50,000 original equipment shocks and struts may be worn to the point of needing replacing (depending on vehicle and driving conditions).

Shocks and struts maintain balance and safety in your car. They absorb the up-and-down shock created by the springs when you hit a bump. Shocks and struts don't just smooth the ride; they also keep the car or truck controllable after a bump, and that's always a good thing. Bad shocks or struts aren't just uncomfortable, they're are dangerous. Fortunately, we can help restore the ride and handling of your vehicle with new shocks or struts.

We sell and install ONLY name brand, quality shocks and struts!!

We understand the importance of ensuring that replacement parts deliver original equipment (OE) quality, fit and form. We have access to many brands to suit your needs.

We feature Monroe® Shocks and Struts. The Industry Leader, offers ride control products using the latest innovative technologies designed to match the OE-specified ride and handling profile of your vehicle. Monroe® Sensa-Trac® products have a proven margin of safety:

  • Sensa-Trac shocks and struts adjust rapidly to changing road and weight conditions, delivering enhanced control with uncompromised ride comfort.
  • Sensa-Trac ride control products automatically adjust to changing conditions. They offer superior comfort for normal driving and deliver extra control when operating conditions get more demanding.

Monroe® Sensa-Trac® struts and shock absorbers with PSD (position sensitive damping) and the Safe Tech™ system combines our exclusive precision tapered grooves in the pressure tube with application engineered valving and Fluon banded piston to improve the ride, handling, and safety characteristics of the vehicle.

The result: enhanced control with uncompromised ride comfort.

Quick-Strut® - Complete, Ready-To-Install Replacement Strut Assembly

Do The Job Right, The First Time!

  • Quicker - No need to take apart existing strut assembly.
  • Safer - No need to compress coil springs.
  • Easier - No specialized tools needed.
  • Limited Lifetime Warranty.

The revolutionary Monroe Quick-Strut unit is the first complete, ready-to-install replacement strut assembly available! Monroe Quick-Strut units include all the components required for strut replacement in a single, fully-assembled unit. They feature pre-assembled replacement bearing plate, upper and lower spring isolators, upper spring seat, coil spring, boot kit, and a premium strut.

This breakthrough design saves on installation time by eliminating having to disassemble components and compress the coil spring prior to installation. Each Quick-Strut assembly features application-engineered valving to optimize each vehicle's unique ride and handling characteristics. Available for popular passenger car, light truck and SUV applications.

Monroe® OESpectrum® struts and shock absorbers are engineered specifically for foreign nameplate vehicles and feature the latest global original equipment valving technologies. Developed through years of research and on-vehicle testing, Monroe OESpectrum units provide an unprecedented level of handling precision and control while filtering out the ride harshness commonly encountered on many foreign nameplate applications.

Monroe® Reflex®: Monotube Shock Absorbers

Ideal for larger light trucks, SUVs and other vehicles with a high center of gravity:

  • Enhanced stability by reducing body roll rate in evasive maneuvers or tight turns.
  • Reflex Monotube for OE-equipped vehicles.
  • Reflex shocks are application-engineered to each vehicle model.

Monroe Reflex® monotube shocks are specifically engineered to provide better handling, control and performance for light trucks and SUV's. These shocks feature a high-pressure gas charge that separates the unit internal oil and nitrogen to provide additional spring rate, helping to maximize damping efficiency and control. To further enhance ride control characteristics, Monroe® Reflex® monotube shocks include a hydraulic lockout to cushion the impact as the vehicle suspension is fully extended.

Monroe® Reflex®: Truck Shock Absorbers and Struts

Ideal for larger light trucks, SUVs and other vehicles with a high center of gravity:

  • Enhanced stability by reducing body roll rate in evasive maneuvers or tight turns.
  • Reflex shocks are application-engineered to each vehicle model.

The Monroe Reflex® truck shock absorbers and struts with the patented ASD Technology combines specially tuned valving with a Fluon banded piston.

The ASD valve has the ability to sense acceleration to improve the handling, safety, and overall ride characteristics of sport-utility vehicles, mini-vans and light trucks. The ASD base valve will sense a bump in the road and automatically adjust the shock to absorb the impact, leaving the shock with greater control when it is needed.

The features of the Monroe® Reflex® truck shock absorbers and struts make it the superior shock for improved handling, safety, and comfort in all road conditions.

Max-Air® Shock Absorbers: Air Adjustable Shocks

Ideal for vehicles that occasionally haul heavy loads or tow trailers.

  • Large-volume air chamber inflates up to 150 psi with vehicle loaded, and deflates for normal driving.
  • A pair can maintain ride height when up to 1,100 lbs. of additional weight is loaded.
  • Can be adapted for most vehicles equipped with automatic leveling systems.

Designed to maintain level vehicle height, they can be inflated or deflated as needed...from 20 psi to 150 psi with the vehicle loaded.

Packed in pairs that include air line, air fittings, and air fill kit.

Capacity is limited by vehicle suspension, tires and transmission. See vehicle owner's manual for details.

Gas-Magnum® Light Truck Shocks: Light Truck Shock Absorbers

Gas-Magnum light truck shocks are designed for mid- to full-size, light-duty work trucks and vans

  • Expanded reserve tube for greater oil capacity to better dissipate heat. (on most applications)
  • Work more efficiently with less effort.

These units provide firm control without a harsh ride. With up to twice the fluid capacity of standard 1" bore shocks, Monroe Gas-Magnum truck shocks work more efficiently with less effort.

Monro-Matic Plus® shocks and struts provide an ideal balance of comfort and control for any driving condition:

  • Monro-Matic Plus ride control products feature Velocity Proportional Valving (VPV) technology that provides proportional damping based on the speed of vehicle-to-road impact.
  • Monro-Matic Plus shocks and struts provide improved comfort at an economical price.

Monro-Matic Plus® shock absorbers are nitrogen gas charged and feature velocity proportional valving and all weather fluid, which offers passenger cars improved comfort at an economical price.
